About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Engineer to help us maintain and raise the quality bar across our cloud-based platform. You will work as a core member of the engineering team, embedded in delivery squads.
You will execute test strategies, grow your automation skills, and champion quality practices from planning through to production.
What you'll be doing
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing sessions for new features and regression cycles
- Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications — functional, regression, smoke, and boundary testing
- Test API endpoints and validate responses end-to-end using Postman or similar tools
- Collaborate with engineers early in the development cycle to shift quality left
- Report, track, and verify bugs through to resolution
Requirements
Must-have skills
- 1+ years of QA experience in an agile software engineering team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Good spoken and written English
- Experience testing both web and mobile applications (Android and/or iOS)
- Strong knowledge of manual testing — functional, regression, exploratory, boundary testing
- Bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)
Nice to have
- ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL) certification — or mobile certification (CT-MAT)
- Familiarity with mobile automation (Appium for Android and/or iOS)
- Performance testing fundamentals (JMeter or similar)
- Familiarity with end-to-end UI testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress)
- Familiarity with writing and executing automated API tests (Postman or similar)
